Was hoping to take delivery of mine today as well, looks like mine will be amongst those being sent out on Monday. I'll live, and going by previous posts it'll be worth the wait

No sign of mine either. Hopefully it will brighten up a dull January Monday.

Oh wow, they look damned good.

I think/hope mine is coming next week. I really can't wait. I don't normally buy watches without a date but I had to have this one.

I wonder what's going to be the next release for the Newmark brand?

#235 reporting in. DHL notification on Wednesday and on my doorstep in Boston on Friday morning. That was quick!

It’s a lovely watch. The attention to detail is very good, especially the radial brushing on the case which I’ve tried to highlight in the last photo.

    Thank you Ewan!

    Mine's not arrived :( - must mean I'm in Monday's batch

I gave my office address for delivery - can't believe how many times I've wandered downstairs to see if I'd had any deliveries today

Has anyone received one of the 'low number' watches with the jet engine blade?
Mine is due Monday as well.

Hugely embarrassed to find all of Ewan’s strap goodies as promised in the outer bubble-wrap. Sorry Ewan.

Well that works out really quite well. I’ve finally got a use for the excellent bracelet that I got with my SpeedbirdIII that I hate wearing on my Speedbird III. ;c)

The thing that stopped me in the end is the 24hr sub dial @ 3. A lot of the Seiko quartz/meca quartz movements use this and to me it’s a waste of a sub dial, particularly if there’s only two to start with.
I disagree - it has a great function if you view it as a localised GMT function (I appreciate that it can't be adjusted separately from the main hour hand). See point 4 here - you can use it as a compass https://www.montredo.com/en/watch-ma...r-a-gmt-watch/

Newmark have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/newmarkwatc...epa=SEARCH_BOX

I'm sure it would be great if happy customers also posted their photo's on there - as it might help the traffic and get them noticed more - as would posting them on the Microbrand page here https://www.facebook.com/groups/microbrandwatches/

Lets try and give a re-birth of a great British brand a boost :-)

I appreciate that, my issue is that it’s a two register chrono where one of the sub-dials serves no chrono purpose.

All the British military 2 register Chronographs have a subdial that serves no chrono purpose as well. What use is the running seconds for chronometric purposes? ;c)

I have an RAF Pulsar Gen.2. The sub-dial at 12 whizzes around once per second. It serves no purpose except to mesmerise me and keep me entertained.

Me too, almost did but opted for the basic (cheapest) at the last second.

Now I have the watch I'm so impressed the extra money would have been well spent.

No. 243 has arrived safely (despite the DHL guy trying to give me someone else’s parcel!) - Ewan, it’s a beauty. The Cordura strap is great and the NATO really high quality too. Having seen the photos above, I’m gutted to have missed the package with the turbine blade...

No. 32 arrived earlier this afternoon courtesy of DHL. It is a lovely watch and beautifully packaged - well done Ewen.

191 has arrived, shown along with a PRS5
    First impressions are great
It looks to be a perfect everyday grab and go watch.
192 also arrived but that is still in its box as it’s a gift for my father.
The cordura and leather straps look great but they will likely remain unworn (maybe used on other watches) as I like the grey pull through strap.

No 16 (my lucky number!) is here. Put it on a Canvas as I will keep all the Zulus and Leather Nato starps (4) unworn fro the moment.
    Looks perfect for me!

I'm quite pleased with mine. I'm inexplicably always underwhelmed by RAF NATOs so mine went on a spare Admiralty grey "proper" NATO on arrival. This morning I decided to try it on an Omega kevlar that has been languishing since I managed to get my X33 onto a bracelet.

I'm not regretting the absence of wabi. Yet.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

  50. #200
Number 124 has landed here (thanks for posting as agreed so it would land on a Tuesday Ewan, much appreciated). Superb packaging.

First impression having just put it on - very nice, good size, well put together, I like it a lot, not keen on RAF Nato's myself, so it's currently on a Bond proper type Nato & looking good. I like the Nato stock number with 870 in, as I was born in August 1970 (tenuous I know, but I like it).

It's making me smile when I glance at it, that's always a good sign.

One thing that I had forgotten is it doesn't have a continuous running seconds hand, that caused a momentary "oh god it's stopped" moment when I first tool it out !

    Well done Ewan.

    Cheers

    Dave
