I may be being thick but the question doesn’t seem to make sense. BT Fon is just you sharing other people’s Wi-fi while you are out. The strongest signal is the nearest.

That's what i thought too, although I don't know the difference between BTWifi-X and BTWifi-with-FON.

In my experience they all tend to be dreadful. My phone now has the annoying habit of automatically connecting to these and dropping the perfectly fast 4G.
