Looks like it's worth a look when I'm in town. I doubt there much treasure to be found as these kind of guys tend to know what they have. I'd be looking for some books mainly. Thanks for sharing.
I spent last Saturday in Geneva and could not miss the Plainpalais morning market.
It has been going since the 60s. My first visit was when I was 16 back in 1969.
All kinds of stuff for sale here from fine art to kitchen utensils and of course watches, clocks and watch repairing tools and equipment. It varies from week to week depending on which traders turn up.
But it is definitely a must visit for the young watch repairer where all manner of useful tools turn up.
Get the email of any useful traders and they will often let you know what they have recently bought, from tools and parts to serious factory production machinery.
Watches can be a bit expensive to buy but they do barter, and I was lucky last weekend finding a Bulova Accutron day date which had been mistakenly labelled as 'quartz'.

I also bought these two books still sealed:

beats looking at broken kids toys and rotten parasols.
Thanks for sharing OP - looks like a real treat
So how much was that lovely Triple date?
Looks good to me, I’d be more interested in the tools than watches!
Paul
Brendan, Is it worth going just for watches? Might call in tomorrow.

Definitely !! You may find a bargain. Also there's a pawnbrokers next to ChicChicken at the road junction opposite Rue Dancet, church end of the market. They sell watches as well.
Don't forget to haggle !! It's what only the British do !
