I'm sorry Jim, but it looks like you're out of luck. The ads are up with the approval of the site owner.

It's now costing me 5k per annum in hosting fees for the forum, hopefully the ads will cover it.

Ad blocker will get rid of the ads for you if you wish, but the way I see it, it's only fair to Eddie to keep the ads alive so he can collect some revenue. It's a free forum for us and I'm willing to contribute to the running costs by having some ads on my screen.
