I originally stated Sinn Arktis and CWC. Then noticed the title said “one watch” so I removed CWC and only left Sinn Arktis. Then I noticed the OP had a £1k limit so edited yet again to replace Sinn Arktis with CWC.

Second the Hydroconquest, nearly bought one several times but always decide it would never get any wrist time!

Other would be a Junghans Max Bill

Had pretty much all the desirable Seiko divers.
    Never had the Sumo .
    Not to sure why

PRS-29b. I don't know why I've never bought one really, still one of the best looking watches out there.

Now they are £600 plus for some strange reason and are consequently harder to justify.
Same as above. Missed the train on those and will probably never buy one now.

I had a Seiko 6309 for years - sold it 10 years ago. I've been thinking of getting the remake - a Seiko SRP777 - since they were announced, but never got around to it. May do, one day.

Likewise the CWC RN Diver - I had a handful of these when a Royal Navy Diver Officer in the mid-80s, and wouldn't mind another. I've never yet bought one, but may be tempted when the remake of the version I had one back then - with a lumed bezel insert and a (T) on the dial - comes out later this year.

Well after taking some ones advice, to post a WTB, I now have one, a PRS-50B

Put it on one of Eddie's deluxe RAF style Nato straps

    Cheers

The Longines Legend Diver seems a popular option here, I’d be another to add my name to that list.

Even better if it were on the mesh strap but I suspect that’s pushing the budget.

I’m going to cheat slightly and give you two:
    Hamilton Pan Europ
    CWC G10
