    Watch Insurance

Thinking of insuring my watches separately from house insurance. Is this a good idea and any recommendations ?

If you’ve got a handful of watches of moderate-high value, it’s probably cheaper to go through your home insurance provider. M&S is a crowd favourite and way cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere.

If you’ve got a very valuable collection, it’s probably cheaper to go with specialist insurance, or look at the high-end home insurance providers.

this was my experience and works for what I need today.
Individually detailed on our home insurance with replacement values etc.

Same for me - nothing of a particularly high value, but adding them all on seems to add next to nothing to the premium.

That said I've never needed to claim (touch wood), so I don't know what sort of experience you have if you did...
