If you haven't already - I'd go try a big pilot on. They're big alright!

Agree you should try it on, but I find it wears easy enough for a daily. Overall its a fantastic watch and one I need to try at some point. But not sure I'd want it as my only watch, even if it wears well it is still a big watch.....

I definitely agree with trying one on. They're not just a large diameter but are chunky too. I like the design but not sure I could get on with the dimensions, especially as a daily wear.

BPs are stupidly cool if you have wrist for it, my favourite by far is the IW5002, the 1st generation with old font.

If you have massive wrists, they look good. If you have normal wrists, they look completely stupid. And will never go under a cuff, obviously. Try one on first.

Great watch but not for every occasion.

Too big and heavy for me. On my little 6.75 wrist.

Prefer the Zenith CP-2 on SC just now!

I agree with what's been already said. I wouldn't buy a big pilot as a one only watch. It's a great watch but not one to wear daily in my opinion.

I've got sparrow like 6.5 inch wrists, I don't like big watches, yet I loved the Big Pilot when I tried it on. I think I like it as much as a horological object as much as a watch, but its size must make it challenging as a daily wearer. The depreciate pretty badly too, so not a great purchase new.

    A lovely horological object
    Not a daily wearer
    Not an "only" nice watch

Ive owned one previously and found the size very easy to live with. However, the crown was very uncomfortable, being stupidly-large.

As others have mentioned try before you buy to make sure you are ok on size. I find them very wearable given the size. Definitely go pre owned as well if you are going to buy.

Great watch if you've got the wrists for it as others have said, as a one watch though I'm not so sure.

Don't. Too big for just one, everyday watch. You will regret it and will hate the size of it sooner than later.

The smaller one might be manageable but the big one is too much for me.

The zenith pilot big date or the cp2 are much more wearable.
