I can't be certain but I would expect that to be the date installed. Replacement date will depend on usage so difficult to predict and that's what the EOL indication is for.
Just received an X-33 Omega and very nice it is too.
Question to the forum - the date on the plastic peel off on the watch has a little date on it of 02/18. Does that mean the expected replacement date or the date installed? (If the former I guess I could be looking at a battery replacement soon).
Watch looks BNIB to me - but this Ltd Edn came out a few years ago.
The outer box date states: mfg. date ‘12/14.

As an aside that's a lovely piece of engineering!

Update: looks like that was the expected expiry date for the battery.
The second hand has just started ‘jumping’ after I’ve been trying some functions - So I’ll chat with the AD what they can sort out. It’s on 14 return basis - I think all the batteries from that model are reaching EOL.
I have changed the battery on my MKii x-33. Anyone changed a MK3?
It’s going in for a battery change and AD was most apologetic and will pick up any cost.
