Dammit, talented, good looking, a national hero and now this! Mbappé for president!
Great story. The first time I saw him play in the World Cup I wanted France to win, they've been great to watch.
"A man of little significance"
Good on him. Yes, he may earn a fortune 52 weeks of the year from club wages & sponsorship, but he didn’t have to make that gift.
Not to belittle his efforts in any way, but I think it’s worth noting that the England Players Fund, voluntarily set up in 2007, has raised circa £5m for charity from England players donating their own international match fees etc.
Footballers as a class take a lot of flak for being playboys, but a lot of them contribute their time & money to charity, which doesn’t make the headlines anywhere near as much as their other exploits. Juan Mata’s ‘Common Goal’ charity for instance, which encourages players to contribute 1% of their earnings to charity.

Great player. Not quite in the Danny Welbeck class yet but will get there with hard work......
Not unusual, aren't our players doing the same?
Not sure about Kane's Golden Boot though.
Edit - already mentioned!
