    Incoming turtle

Needed watch for a 2-3 weeks and saw this one in shop. Lovely blue gradient, weird shape and it really glows like a torch. Surprisingly wearable despite 45mm case.

Turtles are incredibly comfortable watches despite their size !!

My Pepsi Turtle with coin edge bezel, flat crystal, lollipop seconds hand and kanji day wheel says hello :-)

I do like the SRPC91 but it conflicts with my PADI a little so I haven't made a decision whether to buy one yet. Great looking watch though.

Mine arrived yesterday, and a Zuludiver NATO in appropriate colours came today. I have wanted a properly blue watch for a while, recently tried a PADI Turtle and the Save The Ocean was just ideal. Absolutely love it.

A favourite variant. Bronze case and bezel.

Bronze?! Is that a Seiko-made version or aftermarket?

I opted for a domed sapphire while I start to like your coin edge bezel.

I’m awaiting delivery of a black dial Samurai today. Before I bought it I tried one on in John Lewis and they had the Save the Oceans version in too. The dial is absolutely stunning! If I don’t bond with the Samurai I will be on the lookout for a StO Turtle.

Domed sapphire is also cool - I like the effect it has on the dial. I opted for the flat one because I wanted to keep the glass surface under the edge of the bezel to lessen the risk of scratching.

My bezel is from Yobokies btw. While I like the look of it, the only thing I have a little grief about is that it feels a bit loose on the watch - but I guess it can be fixed by using a little thicker retaining spring.

my sapphire was also from the same supplier and I mighty just call him for a new bezel.

BTW, this fancy blue dial is really amazing..pic from the Internet

Got Borealis strap yesterday. Not because Seiko strap is not good, I just like Borealis more.

Both the domed sapphire and coin edge look great on a PADI.
