Does anyone remember how long their Borealis took to arrive?
I've been waiting a couple of weeks so far, and the website says 1-5 weeks.
I've now tried both the OM and the Borealis and the Borealis is the winner. It's thinner and more pliable than the OM and has better adjustment.
The only downside is the logo engraved on the buckle. I flipped the OM buckle on to mine as that's plain. The OM also has the nice vanilla smell but I don't sniff the strap all day so that doesn't really matter.
My orange Borealis arrived today for my MM300.
I would say my Isofrane edges it quality-wise but the Borealis is certainly amazing value for money.
Ok my green rubber strap arrived from Cousins, which, for the money isn't bad at all. Has a bit of a rubbery smell to it, but not objectional.
I've just fitted it to my Broadarrow and here's a pic.... the marks at the end are greatly exaggerated due to cropping. Colour is pretty accurate.
Overall remarkable value and happy with it
Agreed, the green strap from Cousins seems like an amazingly good deal.
I would say it is closer to the Isofrane original, certainly compared to the Obris Morgan.
I've got 2 Isofrane straps and find them very comfortable, but the prices are now too high IMO.
My first Cousins isofrane arrived today. Quite nice, price is amazing if you want to have the Isofrane look on the cheap.
Compared to the Borealis the Borealis wins for me. Main difference is that the Borealis is softer and curves better around my wrist. Or said differently: the cousins version is a bit more stiff which pushes the watchhead off my wrist as the strap natural position is to be straight.
So for the look and colour options cousins is hard to beat, if this becomes a daily strap then I prefer Borealis.
Other things to note: cousins also has a vanilla smell, the keepers are far more elastic which means they stay in place (second keeper on Borealis is a bit too wide)

Nothing beats an Isofrane as rubber strap, but price compared to quality Borealis is number one.
But, can anyone explain why Isofrane straps nearly doubled in price at Watchobsession last year?
Am I the only one who hates the smell?
I’ve breathed life into this thread to ask; how do Hirsch rubber, Crafter Blue and Isofrane straps compare?
Also, does anyone make curved-end rubber straps that could fit a Damasko (42mm diameter watch, 20mm lug width)?

There is a PRS 18q of mine at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean - it was on an Obris Morgan isofrane-like strap. I lent it to my youngest when we were windsurfing, so I don't know if the strap failed or the spring bars. Since I have a feeling that the strap was supplied with springbars, either way, the OM let me down. So I would a) avoid them and b) always use natos on sports watches.
In that case, has anyone tried a rubber NATO?

For diving that is all I use, even on my dive computer.
These guys are the best I have found to date: https://www.yellowdogwatchstraps.com/
I find that if I rub my arm in dog faeces I don't notice the smell of the Isofrane as much.
NATO. Don't need the extra height of the keeper strap and I have never had anything move around on a rubber strap, so a Zulu isn't required.
Alternatively, you can buy a Zulu to see if you like it and if you find you don't need the keeper you can cut it off with scissors. That is what I did to the one I tried.
Used to have one and it was decent for water activities, although I found the smell abit over powering.
Picked one of these up in the sale a month or so ago and have found it more comfortable as it is thinner. Also no smell which is a bonus to me.
