I haven't worn anything else since my EZM2 Hydro arrived. A great wearable size (I found the UX a little large for my tastes) with the added appeal of ageing tritium lume on the original 3H dial. The bubble in the oil disappears when worn and appears when cold, which I'm told is normal for these (it was serviced and refilled by Sinn in January, so should be good for another 6 years or so). I like the bubble, it reminds me there's oil in there and I can joke with people that my watch is reverse-waterproof - I keep the water in not out!

It's been strange surviving with one watch (and a G...) for the last 3 weeks, but still another 6 weeks or so of travelling to go.

All this talk about Heuer and Lemania got me in the mood for this.

Poor man’s Heuer or thinking man’s Silverstone, depending on your point of view.

Not an expensive watch, but a a unique one nevertheless. This is my Dave Murphy Special. He used several watches as fitting models for his bezels, and this was one. In the old Poor Mans Watch Forum he sold several to active members, I was one of them. I asked him to blast the case and even change the bracelet for a steel one from China, I ordered and had it send to him (way better then the folded Russian one). I also had a choice for a certain insert and I choose this "Coke" one. Dave was happy with the results and made several photo's in his garden in the winter... This is one of the pics... HAGWE people!
