Good choice! Looks excellent and will be even better on the strap I reckon.
For years now I've been admiring the Seiko SBDW005 Landmaster, and with those being out of production now and very few popping up new, I decided that this was the time to go for it.
The seller had a "summer sale" and the price, (prices are getting silly with this one) was very fair imho.
I've been reading up on this one and the quality was something that always attracted me to this Landmaster. And it doesn't disappoint, fabulous attention to detail, bezel action (bi-directional) and crown operation all clearly a step or two up from your usual kinetic. It's all titanium and has a one piece case, a "frontloader" so to say. I don't know what they have done to it, but the stories are that it doesn't scratch easily, even less so than the Dia-Shield Seiko''s.
I'm not going to wear before my holidays, so a "in box picture" will have to do. I ordered a sailcloth with red stitching from Monkey Swag for it, so new pics with strap after my holiday.

Nice one matey,
Fancied one of those myself, still wanting a titanium watch due to the weight advantage.

Congratulations looks nice, seconded about the strap.
Cheers guys, it's all a bit to grey with the bracelet imho.
With 41mm it wears very comfy as well. Oh, and the sapphire and red/black real carbon dial are a feast to the eye as well.

I have the same look, but older model - no bracelet though. I’d happily add a newer model too though. They look fantastic. I think alongside my Tuna they may well be the only long haul Seiko watches for me.
It's just a matter of time...
yeah, its a nice watch. ti is great in the hot weather too.
A gem indeed. One of my all-time favourite watches. The grade-5 titanium does seem to shrug off everything I've thrown at it.
Here is mine, on its usual BC strap, next to a picture of that titanium and the one-piece case being forged...
A perfect design from true GMT movement to dial to case to best-ever-bezel, beautifully made.

I am sure you will love it.

Cheers for those fabulous pics!
It's looks even better in those pics, can't wait to get home and admire it again ;)
Something to look forward to after I've been on holiday, if Monky Swag deliver the strap in time I'll swap that before I go away so I can start enjoying it straight after I come back.

Thanks!

Never handled one, but those photos have piqued my interest.
Being titanium, I expect it wears ‘light’ for it’s size?

Welcome to the club - it's a cracker. I found it difficult finding a perfect pairing, I like the Haveston NATO, very comfortable and balances the watch well.
I had one of those and miss it - do you mind me asking which seller it came from and if the summer sale is still on?!
Awesome pick up. Wish I'd never sold mine.... Enjoy
Never expected, but quite a lot of love for this one, seeing the reactions.

Really like the blue dialled one with the yellow hand!
A thread on that one... https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...-of-two-quests
Would have a few Landmasters if they were not Kinetic.
Realy like the package though...
