    Show us your Heuers

Thought I'd start this for the Heuer lovers, so show us your Heuers!

My little collection below. All of them purchased from someone on the forum at some point.

    From left to right:-

NOS Pasadena no name (as Pasadena is not on the dial)
Absolutely perfect and is a PVD coating. I do have the original box and strap too.

    Autavia Viceroy 1163V
Bezel has seen some wear but the dial is perfect and just had it checked over by Rich Askham of watchspotblog.com and all fine but had the crystal polished and there was some detritus knocking around under the crystal which was tidied up.

    Heuer Autavia 11630 MH
Absolutely love this one. Bought it from Snoodles a few months back and put it on this Hirsch strap. One minor dent on the bezel but otherwise it's in great condition.

    Heuer Carrera 1153N "The Jagger"
So called as it was made popular by Mick Jagger in the 70's. In great condition again with some ageing to the sub-dials which I love. Just missing an original Heuer crown which I'll sort at some point once I can track one down.

    Couple of closer shots:-

    So show us yours

    Steve

Lovely watches guys. Particularly love the 2446C GMT. Maybe one day!

I've been thinking about a PVD Monza too. Hard trying to find one in good condition though!

I remember when I first got into watches, was looking in Goldsmiths at a blue Monaco, said to the salesperson, can you get a Autavia gmt? Complete blank look returned.
I felt like such a berk later when I realised it was long discontinued, decided from then on to research a bit harder before opening my mouth.
    Still lust after one though.

510.511 in great condition and complete with bracelet.

980.006 which has been around SC. Bought it to try the rootbeer look and it's rather nice.

I’m not brave enough or knowledgable enough to get involved with the vintage Heuer scene... I do however love the re editions. Really should have kept my Silverstone.

Nothing as glamorous as others in this thread, but this 980.004 is the first "decent" watch I bought.

I still have the box, papers and bracelet, but I rather like it on this Di-Modell Rallye

Bought a while ago - before that recent Heuer mania madness - from the long gone Heuervintageforum where I was quite an active member (hello GVM ;) )

The watch is from 1971 and bracelet is the original and very sought after Heuer bead of rice

Great thread. Unfortunately my ISP only shows about 50% of the images (no idea why). Anyway, my two Heuers:

I have had a few over the years. I have kept two.

The Mareographe - I kept it mainly because it's pretty rare, they don't come up for sale too often. When they do come up, they are not like this one. This one is the first generation with the patent pending mark in the sub dial and the offset tide correction button at 47 minutes. The later production model had a slightly different dial design and the tide correction button at 45 minutes

And I kept this one as I do wear it and I just like it

That Mareographe must be worth rather a lot now, very nice.

I have a few but no photos to hand of my two 1163s.

For anyone coveting the above, I spotted One of the similar looking (but non-LE) editions today in an AD, reduced to £2700.
    (I think RRP is £4400 ?).
PM Me and I’ll spill the beans.

I’m quite partial to a Heuer or three....

  44. #44
Just returned from a summer holiday & i’m very happy to see a Heuer dedicated thread pop up.
I purchased my first few Heuer’s in the mid 1990’s but have been a dedicated Heuer collector since about 2005. I have had the good fortune to see the Heuer community expand in size, popularity and knowledge mainly due to the community spirit that grew out of the Heuer dedicated website, On The Dash.
Over the years i have been lucky enough to have tried the majority of their classic chronographs & divers , here’s a little sprinkle of the watches that have made me smile.

    1937 Model.358 Monopusher Flieger

    1945 Model.345 - Valjoux.71

    1946 Model.2447 tobacco dial

Black & gilt dial model 2447

    1950’s
A matched pair of rally master dash timers

    1960 Model.2444

    1960’s
1st execution Autavia 2446 with full lume hands

A trio of early screwback Autavia’s

Ready for your close up ?

    Carrera 3647S

    1969

Exotic pair of Monaco’s - paintless wonder Chronomatic prototype & metallic blue Transitional

    70’s

    1st execution 1163 GMT Autavia

A quartet of 1163 Auravia’s - so similar but each different

    Pair of 73633 Monaco’s

    Carrera 1153N

    Blue Montreal

    White Montreal

    A prototype automatic Bund

Autavia 73663 in Siffert colours with a 2446C compressor case

    80’s
    Pair of 11063 Autavia’s

Definitely recommended. As you said, do some research. Some good places are:-

    www.vintageheuer.com
    www.onthedash.com
    www.calibre11.com
    www.heuerpriceguide.com

    Enjoy the hunt!
