Yes, I thought about that.
Different headlights but the same reflector principle/construction.
So yes, it is a potential issue.

I hardly ever use high beam and if I do, it is only for a moment.

I am hoping that the reflectors are a bit better than the early 90s ones and can handle the 90W dipped beam versus the 65W of the OEM high. Also why I left the rubber boots off; it múst be less hot without those rubber insulators.
