So there's a mkII dial out now with a coronet between Swiss & Made. Are the mkI's now the true 50th Anniversary?? Lol

Watchfinder: Rare Mk I dial - £15k
Makes up a little for my foray into 90's tech stocks... a little.
How do you know if you have a Mk 1?
The larger bracelet and new movement with 70hr power reserve.
All the new professional range with the 70hr movement have the crown. Have a look at the GMTs
^that's the new DSSD 116660
The 126600 has had the 70hr 3235 movement from the outset without the crown between swiss and made. Mk2 dial has the crown.
I have a Mk1 then, can I retire now? 🤣🤣
I also have a Mk 1 Deepblue, I really am the King of the castle.
Mk1 here too

Yip
Hang onto them for 40 years and it might be of some significance.

Yay. Looking forward to all the C24 ads announcing their stock is the rare MK1 Dial, all the while forgetting every singe one on the market will be a MK1 Dial
My MK1's crown aligns with the logo straight, the perfect storm. I will take £20k LOL
Kind of cool for the lucky owners of the mk1. Probably won't make a big difference from a value perspective but it's nice to have the very first dial. In a way Rolex have treated the early adopters with a limited run of just one year.
So this is the MK1 no coronet between Swiss (&) Made
Do we have a coronet (MK11) image?

Good to know :)
Wonder if prices will grow a bit (ignoring WF.nonsense)
Only if certain sellers try and manipulate the market (which isn't too easy on a fairly widely available watch that isn't that desirable-all IMHO as an owner).
If MK1 Dials suddenly became 20% more expensive surely market forces would drive the MK2 Dial to be widely available as the casual buyer probably couldn't care less.
Personally I can't see it. What I would say is it might make a difference in 10 or 20 years time.
Agreed. I also think we won't see much of a difference short to medium term but we might further down the road if collectors recognise the mk1 SD43 without coronnet as the true anniversary edition.
To draw a parallel with the 50th Anniversary Submariner, it took more than 10 years to the 16610LV mk1 "flat 4" to trade at significant higher price than subsequent dial and bezel versions. Last time I checked, a NOS fully stickered mk1 flat 4 was 17k euros on chrono24 against 10k euros for a "regular" NOS stickered LV.
Thanks
