    Black Bay 58 GMT

    Morning all,

As the title suggests, I was wondering about the above. The BB58 is an amazing watch, but I would love to see a batman bezel GMT version of it. To the extent that I have started looking to see if 12 hour GMT bezels for it exist...

Has anyone ever seen any mods like this?

Obviously it would affect the value of the watch, but if it makes it my perfect watch I’m not too concerned about this.

    Cheers

    K

It’s the only black bay in that size. There are no other suitable OEM bezels.

A GMT bezel wouldn’t make sense on a BB58 since there’s no GMT hand.
Best thing to do is hope that Tudor update their BB GMT to fit inside the much better proportioned BB58 case.

    This ^

And I cannot see anyone making the effort and producing a snide GMT bezel insert for a not overly common watch that also isn’t a GMT. Bit of an odd want.

OP - Is it just the 2-tone dark colours you like? Why a GMT bezel insert?

With a 12 hour GMT Bezel, you can essentially use it as a limited GMT function. I have a Modded SKX007 done in this style.

I much prefer the size of the 58, but I just love the batman gmt look, rather than the full-size GMT BB in the Pepsi config.

Have you tried one on? I was also sceptical but it wears very well.

I wouldn’t spoil an already great looking watch.

I’m firmly in the “leave as original camp” for most things including watches.
