    Nice publicity for Patek

In his video with James Corden, driving around Liverpool, Paul Mc Cortney is very visibly wearing his Aquanaut, you see it in a number of shots. Priceless image-making for Patek. Corden is wearing a Royal Oak, I think.
Lovely bit of film, you forget how great the music was...mind you, some facelift!

The music certainly was great from the Beatles.......well, most of it was! I like Paul McCartney although some of his stuff with Wings was a bit patchy to say the least. I even think he still sounds reasonable when he sings......for an old guy.

As for the watches in the video, I didn't even notice them. Neither hold much appeal for me anyway. If it wasn`t for my interest in old watches, and my interest in repair/restoration, watches wouldn`t mean much at all to me thesedays.

Companies like Rolex and Patek spend millions, many millions, pushing their brand image; image is everything....without it, stuff isn't 'desirable.'
So here you have possibly the worlds greatest pop star openly sporting a particular watch, which he's worn for years, presumably because he likes it.Not because he's paid. How much is that worth in marketing terms?
If Patek give me an Aquanaut, I promise to wear it when I go for a walk. How's that for a fair offer.

Not worth that much in marketing. Most people wouldn’t recognise the watch - you are doing their marketing for them ;)
It's just a matter of time...

Perhaps they only bought one between them and take it in turns to wear it?

I loved this film. It was a powerful testament the enduring joy of music in our lives. Some of the reactions of the good folk of Liverpool was amazing to watch and both James and Paul seem genuinely moved at moments which was lovely to see. Great stuff!

I feel the same about McCartney and Corden

I noticed the Patek and AP straight away.

I’m not a fan of Corden but I thought it was a great recording. To me the Beatles are the greatest and seeing PM film that was fantastic.

Has Ringo done the two fingered salute more than Winston Churchill?

From what I've read elsewhere on TZ this isn't advisable if you live in London.

Noticed he hadn't sized the Aquanaut and it was all over his wrist, but saying that, couldn't care less about the watches; one of the best YouTube moments I've ever watched.
