Lume on Zeno Divers from group purchase ?

    Hi All,

Could anyone who has one of the zeno divers from the group purchase give an assesment of the lume ? I'm thinking of "pulling the trigger" on one of the sc ones and as I use the lume generally a lot it would be handy to know of it's relative luminosity. How does it compare to the Seiko 007 / 009 lume as that's what I'm use to.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Richie

The hands on mine are bright and are readable all night. On the dial it's a different matter, only holds its charge for a while.

Compared to a Seiko you'll undoubtedly notice the difference.

Cracking watch for the money though. Been wearing mine a lot lately can't fault it at all.

Seiko seems to produce watches with unparalleled standards of lume.

I used to own a Sawtooth and the lume was so bright my wife wouldn't allow it in the bedroom at night because it kept her awake!

The only lume that I find comparable to Seiko is the lume on my SM300. I've got watches with good lume, but nothing like as bright as the SKX007.

As for the Zeno, I didn't rate it at all – very dim, even after charging under the bathroom LED lights.

    Hmmm...

Looks like I'll be getting another skx007 then !

Lume on the Monsters is as good if not better than the SKX (slightly bigger hour markers). Mine is like a flippin torch!

I agree; my forum bulk buy Zeno is poor lume-wise, but still a corking watch at the price.

For lume at night I rely on Traser, my Balls, 2254.50, and Seiko.
