Thread: Happy Fathers Day

    Happy Fathers Day

Dog is walked, grass is cut, lawn mowed. Time to be indulged, although I am cooking.

Today will be somewhat sad, my father in law is joining us after the incredibly hard to bear death of his partner of sixty six years. June died on the 14th and was loved by many.

Food will be eaten, wine drunk and happy memories shared, tears for sure but happiness will always be there.

Finished off in a way that would have been loved, shortbread from my daughter, strawbs, and wine from my sister.

Nice to see you’re having a good day Nigel! Mrs Mag has just returned from Oxford this afternoon with my eldest daughter, complete with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, so a fairly happy father here!
