Nice one, Willie - nothing modest about it, just a nice varied collection
To celebrate my 50th post, here’s the modest collection I’ve managed to acquire on my public librarian’s salary:
Seiko Quartz 5H23 from 1987. I am the original owner, but my teenage daughter has been wearing it lately.
Swiss Army Officer’s Quartz Chronograph from the early 90s. Worn by Dr. Joel Fleischman on several seasons of Northern Exposure.
Vostok Amphibian SE 420454S from Meranom. 24-hour movement with Murphy bezel and Yobokies countdown insert. My beater for arctic submarine expeditions, and light housework.
Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical. A hand winder. I’ve got the matt bracelet for this, too.
Precista PRS-82 #424 with the new old stock ETA 2783. I like the straight Stapcode Super Oyster, but am thinking of replacing it with a fully-brushed Geckota Solid 3 Link Oval Profile which tapers to 16mm.
Seiko Baby Turtle PADI Edition. Makes me want to try an SKX and full-sized SRP777.
Thanks for having me on TZ-UK!
Willie
Very nice collection!
That Vostok looks so cool on the rhino/nato strap!
I've always loved the PRS-82 too and would love to own one in the future.
Lovely selection. Really like the Vostok in particular, right up my street that.
Thank you for sharing your collection with us! Martyn
Nice and varied collection. The 24 hour Vostok looks great. Well done on 50 posts.

Nice collection there Willie. Love that Vostok. Strap looks great on it.
Nice collection. I'll be the odd one out then... love the Hamilton Field Mechanical. Just my sort of watch.
Nice. I do like the look of the Hamilton.
Nice collection! I recently joined the 50 club as well.
What strap have you got on the baby turtle? It looks great.
Love the Vostok - and it's wide range of uses :)

Nice... I do like this Precista’s!
I didn't know there was a baby turtle! Looks great!

Thanks, all. Here's another look at the Vostok:
I just got the SRPC41 and have been enjoying it. Have not tried a full-sized Turtle, so that might be next.
Eventually I'd like to save for a Stowa Marine and Sinn 356. Those have impressive craftsmanship and design at prices that I could reasonably afford.
Good variation there. There's a lot to be said for wearing different styles and sizes in rotation, it's almost like new watch day at every change!

Lovely collection thanks for sharing it. I do like the Vostok. And I will get round to picking one up one day!

Nice one!
Collections come in all shapes, sizes and values, it’s all relative and means the exact same to the owners of each collection irrelevant of what you spend that’s for sure!
I’m afraid this is only the start for you as things will get a lot worse and the collection will grow whilst you are here I’m sure!!
Chris
I like that!
The Vostok caught my eye too.
Cool! Really like the Meranom
