    Scurfa MS 18

If anybody has been waiting for the limited MS 18 the ordering has been brought forward from July to now.

Anybody else got one on order.

Nice looking watch. I've always read good things about Scurfa build quality, too.

    Huge numerals on the bezel...

Apart from the case back, are they the same as the MS17?

I'm a fan of scurfa and have the new diver one, whilst I like the ms17 - ms18 I was hoping for perhaps some additional changes. Still tempted though.

I think the older Scurfa watches have had good build quality for the price, the new models although more expensive look really well made and finished and way above their price point.

I have been looking for a 300m quartz diver, with good lume, sapphire, date and lug holes for a long time. The fact that it has an old school milspec look is a real bonus.

I have got a MS17 and a Bell Diver 1. They are both excellent watches, the Bell Diver 1 is my favourite of the two.

If the MS18 had a few more changes I would of been very tempted, as it is they are indistinguishable when worn with an MS17

Paul provides excellent service and support and I expect further design and style changes which will tempt me. My Field Engineer watch is due to arrive tomorrow and I’m out of the buying market for quite a while !

Received mine today and really, really pleased with it. The build quality is superb! What a great size too, it wears quite small I think, perfect for me in fact. The blue AR on the domed sapphire crystal is a joy and makes it look very sharp and the blue lume is bright and clean. Bezel is perfectly aligned and clicks positively with no play. Overall a great grab and go quartz diver.
After becoming very disenchanted with Seiko lately, this is a much needed positive purchase.
Hats off to Paul Scurfield, he’s designed and produced a great watch. If you’re on the fence, I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

Photos later, only just unboxed it and it’s getting dark

    Here’s mine...

Just ordered the rubber strap from Scurfa Watches. Great service from Alison & Paul.

54/100 arrived today, Lovely watch, and as a bonus I note the steel bracelet from my original diver one will fit too. Tempted by their rubber strap though, anyone got one and do they have pics? Wish I could do pics on this site but have got so frustrated trying I gave up. Cheers, John B4

These look great and I had to order one. I've had the ceramic diver one and was impressed with the quality. It appears that Paul is also bringing out a new bracelet for this model soon.

Much prefer the look of that to my original Scurfa SS. Damnit, keep forgetting to wear the one I have, let alone acquire another one!

Looks great! How does it wear depth and weight wise?

Thanks Oliver, I'm well happy with it. Depth wise it's 14mm and the weight is good ...neither too light or heavy.

If anyone is still unsure about buying a Scurfa rubber strap, this guy recons it’s the best rubber strap he’s ever had, better than Isofrane. I must say it is very comfortable and nice quality for the £16.50 price tag. It also has very close buckle holes for a good fit. I can’t compare it to Isofrane however, never had one. You just have to send Paul/Alison an email and they’ll send you a PayPal invoice and next day delivery. Surely worth a punt at that price.

I sent them an e-mail via their website, and I tried to reply to their reply, it didn't go as it said their inbox was full, I guess lots of orders/enquiries going on! I'll try later, but the strap sounds like an excellent purchase. Cheers, John B4

Yeah me too. I got the same inbox full as you, I’ll resend it in a few days. Only a general enquiry from me so no rush.

Ill add that the strap is great. I like it so much that i bought a second. Its not AS soft as an Isofrane but it is much thinner which to me makes it more comfortable.
