    New Citizen bn0118-04e

Just unboxed my new Citizen Watch and must say I'm pretty impressed, this is my first ever titanium Watch so always had that itch to scratch.

Everything seems well made even down to the Kevlar Strap, the Strap could be a little longer for guys like me with a bigger Wrist ( 7 1/2") maybe a little bigger, but the case and dial look very good, not tested the lume yet but will do shortly.

Will try and add a few pics but it's down to tapatalk and my shoddy photo skills if they turn out okay.

That's just a bit of loose thread stuck to the keeper incase anyone was wondering, lume glows quite a nice blue, not sure how long for though.

It looks great. Prefer the strap version as you have here than the bracelet which is peculiar as I’m a bracelet fan. Still not bought one yet but I’m guessing I will. I found the RM version very comfortable, not sure if that’s down to the titanium or maybe the monocoque case.
    Thanks for sharing

Thanks, I tend to favour Straps over Bracelets these days but I still enjoy a nice comfy Bracelet, when I purchased this Watch, based on looks alone, the Strap wind easy for me.

A very nice looking watch. Apart from the black dial version does anyone know if Citizen are bringing out a blue dial one.

Just opened mine, the return of a classic watch.
Fit and finish are spot on.
Having had several of the original versions and regretted moving them on I intend to hang onto this one

Cheers guys, this is a nice Watch for the money, I got mine from Ernest Jones in Lancaster, they did 10% discount so cost just under £270, very happy with it.

The crown seems a bit big does it poke your hand?

Being a left handed it's worn on my right Wrist, maybe Spike could say?

Really like the look of these. Found one on a bracelet in an AD in Cardiff which I tried on, and unfortunately, for me, just a bit to small.
A couple of mm bigger and it’d be about the perfect every day watch (for me)

£270 is a good price. My next should be a dress watch but I’m taken with this.

Couple of the case back, as someone mentioned in the thread, this Watch wears so comfy, you barely know your wearing it.

I'm not a dress Watch kind of guy, but I do understand that balancing your collection is a good idea if you wear dress type Watches.

Definetley eyeing this one up, how heavy is it? And how thick is it? If you get it on the bracelet, is the canvas strap available to buy seperate? Thanks.

I haven't got a clue on any of those specs sorry, they wasn't even clear on the diameter and type of aluminium used from what I can gather.

All I can say is it's a very wearable Watch and the preportion is good, you barely know it's on your Wrist when worn on the Kevlar Strap or a Nato, not sure if the OE Strap can be bought separate either.

Sorry for not being much help.

It's much better in the flesh so to speak, I don't want to take mine off, but I will have to at some point I suppose lol.

I saw one in a shop window recently and it caught my eye then. As per everybody here I don't need another watch, but the pull is strong for this one having just sold my beater SKX.

I will wait for the first one on SC!

Not sure if it’s my wearing the UX all the time recently, but saw it in a jeweller & was surprised how petite it looked, so walked away.

Am now trying to talk myself into not buying one as the UX is a great daily, I don’t need a beater as I just take a watch to avoid damage.

Did get close to buying the one in SC recently but got side tracked & it sold whilst I was off fiddling with something in the shade.

Yes, they certainly look small compared to Watches I'm use to, but that was the point for me as I wanted something comfy and super wearable, even though these do wear quite small they are very legible with the large numbers on the dial... I wouldn't call them petite, but I know where your coming from.

After wearing mine on a couple of NATOs I put it back on the Kevlar tonight and there’s just something very right about it. I think Citizen got every aspect of this watch and strap spot on.

I totally agree, but I think that Strap would get quite sweaty in this Weather David, I think mine would be pretty minging by now had I worn it for the past two weeks.

    Pictures to follow?

Seriously though, when I first saw this Watch I thought that's pretty small, and I was expecting it, but after a couple of weeks on the Wrist I'm sure it's grown by a mil or two.

Got mine on a bracelet from EJ. I've got the BM6400 and managed to source a bracelet from Citizen UK. This is my first titanium though and so far very pleased.

Nice, I've just bought my second excalibur, I had one in 2014 before moving onto an LLD and various Omegas, a few seikos and lately a ceramic daytona. All great watches, but having the citizen back on my wrist reminds me how good they are. For 150 quid its made me wonder why i've ever paid more. The bracelet feels fab, really good value watches.

Couldnt resist this one, got it on the bracelet, its certainly lightweight but solid, the dreaded pin & collar for adjustment, clasp is very secure, I put it on a monkeyswag rhino for now, a few Citizen mad photos for info :-)

Just got round to adjusting the bracelet, 3 links out for my 6.75” wrist, tools for the job.

The collar only fits in one hole (nearest to thumb), its back in first before you insert the pin.

    Really?

That's interesting, what do you think made it an uncomfy wear?

Mine came on the Kevlar Strap.

It’s a very long clasp. The fine adjustment in the ratchet clasp makes the clasp even longer. A large part of the bracelet is therefore rigid.

In addition the curved folding bit inside didn’t conform to the shape of the clasp and stuck into my wrist.

Nice watches, my Dad swears by them. He has one of the originals. Must admit I'm tempted to get one as a beater and get shot of my SKX, keeps dreadful time.
