They left it late but I think they look very very strong. They have been relentless in pursuit of this win. Well done Brazil

Hopefully Germany turn up tonight and win.
I'm starting to worry that there aren't that many teams better than England at the moment.

I’ve a sneaking suspicion that Sweden may sneak this!

Brazil I think look the part, Mexico do - Belgium certainly do. But it’s an open one for sure. Shouldn’t jump the gun though....

    ^^^ this ^^^

Makes Björn Kuipers' & the Dutch VAR decision yesterday (Neymar's dive) even better.

Not often you can say Germany are shambolic. I think they are out for sure. Sweden look like they have their number

They’re certainly poor defensively and, as they need to get at least one goal, I can see Sweden getting more chances.

Another Swedish goal will make things really interesting!

Au contraire. Another Swedish goal will end it as a contest. German heads down already - defenders look unfamiliar with each other.

German defence making the same mistakes as before. Granted, the offensive part looks better. Glad they left Ozil out.

Agreed, how could anyone think this was NOT a penalty? Shocking imcompetence by the officials!

... For a moment I was afraid that he would spare Boateng his 2nd yellow. Good call to send him off.

How long to take that 2nd yellow decision. 1-1? The commentators failing to hide their glee

Sad but true. And they will become World Champion.

... and the Group with Mexico, Sweden, Germany and Korea has instantly become very interesting!

What other team would do that?
    No real panic.
Just knock it about and create chances.
    Sweden got what they deserved.

    Germany are suspect though

It chokes Me to say this but what guts!!!!They Never gave up,the shot from Brandt that hit the post, the Reus chance where He tried to flick it,in the first 10 minutes the shot from Hector that was cleared off the line.It pleases that the smug Wanker ITV commentator and that dunce Lee Dixon laughing at the Germans misfortune, having to eat their words.I still do not think Germany will win it this win just papers over the cracks.

Agree 100% re the commentators - they had smugness oozing from their pores - quite repugnant actually. Don’t be surprised if this German team now get their act together. World Cup winners don’t become cr4p overnight.

This behaviour is why I will never cheer for Germany.

If Our overpaid ponces don't smash past Panama they deserve to be spanked all the way back to Our shores I predict 3-0 which will guarantee qualification.

Bit of verbals. Poor sportsmanship sure but the Swedes were the ones that laid hands. Can’t condone that either tbh. Sad to say but Sweden deserved the result they got as to go into their shell after Germany got reduced to 10 men was asking for what happened.

... laid hands... indeed. But FIFA 'asked' the German team to issue a 'sorry' on Twitter or staff members would lose their accreditation-card for a place in the dug-out. Surely, players can lose their head in the heat of the battle, but surely a seasoned guy like Olivier Bierhof, a staff member, should have known better.

Plenty examples of management being sent to the stands. Happens weekly. Having a buttoned shirt doesn’t stop them acting like idiots.
