On the last episode now, my advice is to reserve judgement to the end
All I will say is my already low opinion of the American justice system didn't improve watching this
Anyone else watching this?
Im about halfway through
Im pretty sure he did it, just from watching the way he reacts in court etc
Feel sorry for the children.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Finished it.
I don't think he did it, but I couldn't stand him.
I doubt he did it.
Very strange case, and some very strange considerations.
It's just a matter of time...
Watched it but not sure what to think really, I found him very weird. Enjoyed the series though.
Cheers..

I'm on ep 9. I don't think he did it
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Seen it all. Deffo innocent. Interesting to see him open up about his sexuality.
His sister in law is a b! Tch
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Watched it years ago before the updates.
It's less interesting than I remember. If you enjoy it try Murder on a Sunday Morning.

Didn't read this thread. Does it contain spoilers?
Half way through and I don’t think he did, the DA doesn’t have a great argument to prove it

Yeah kinda but not as clear cut. They're both excellent imo.
Just started this, why are all their watch bracelets so loose!
Seen both, staircase is a bit more of a slow boiler.
Evil genius is just like wtf. You can't believe that there are people like that around. Truth truly stranger than fiction.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Finished it the other night, still not sure about this guy.
I’m leaning towards he did and I think I know how.
Sent from The land of hope and glory.

We finished watching The Staircase, and I'm still a bit unsure about him. My personal opinion is that there was reasonable doubt. If you're interested, check out the owl theory about this. It sounds crazy but it has some merit.
We've just started watching Evil Genius, and it has Saw movie levels of WTF.
I read the owl theory!
Got massively curious so did some inspector Clouseau googling and found it.
possible.
Watched first two episodes and it's not really grabbing me, is it worth persevering?
Yes. But only if you enjoy this type of thing!
I'm thoroughly in the camp of him having not done it...except for: How the hell is there all that blood from falling down and hitting your head, even multiple times. I don't feel the defence really cleared that up. But certainly reasonable doubt for me.
It's hard going especially towards the end, largely due to his personal diatribe monologues where he bangs on about himself/his life in retrospect, filling up 5-10 minutes at a time with some possibly made-up anecdote that has precisely no point at all, other than to prove he's a narcissistic nutjob.
It definitely isn't a 'page turner', more a 'I've got this far and must persevere to the end'. The fact he has done such a good job of convincing himself he didn't do it, when it's clear he did (though 100% he did not receive a fair trial) shows what a dangerous person he is. Those kids of his dote on him in a very unhealthy manner - it's scary there are families like this in existence.
I found the whole show really absorbing, he deffo did not do it, but .... wow the DA really wanted him fitted up or what?
The Owl theory is very interesting, but did not come out in the show. Scary seeing people age like that. That sister in law was a right nut job. Nothing queerer than folk.
