Hi,and I found my 'lost' Omega Dynamic.

Hello, this is my first post-I joined because I recently found this Omega Dynamic that I bought in either 1969 or 1970 and wore for about 10 yrs until the strap buckle broke and I had lost the strap key.
Now it's surfaced again so I thought I'd look at sorting it out.

    Hopefully I've inserted a pic.

Hmm,I seem to have only put a link,oh well.

    Fixed that for you, Mike...

    Welcome to the forum.

You've certainly come to the right place. I have an Omega Geneve Dynamic that was given to me as an 18th birthday present and over the years had got into a bit of a state. One of our resident watchmakers here refurbished it for me and it now looks like this...

    So it can be done!

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

I can see the picture. It looks rather extraordinary, at least the dial texture does. You must be very pleased to have found it.

Welcome to the forum. What a lovely thing to find after so long - is it a manual wind version? We have one member here who has quite a bit of experience working on these - I'm sure he'll chime in.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Too many jobs in my ‘projects drawer’, plus too many summer distractions for me to be remotely interested in getting involved with this one.

I knew you were very busy Paul, which is why I didn't explicitly identify you in my first post.

    What a lovely looking piece.
That deserves to be brought back to its former glory.

    Welcome Mike.

That's a great find after all these years. Did it start up when you first wound it again?
