    Rolex Daytona 116520 insurance valuation

My mum has one of these still specified at £7k value for insurance purposes. I know the retail price of the newer model is £9.1k but what is the current market value of her older model. Basically, I want to make sure she has the correct level of insurance. It’s a 2009 UK sourced white dial model with full box and papers.

    Thanks
    Mike

She needs a "Secondhand Replacement Valuation" appraisal from her valuer, and an insurer who is happy to provide cover on that basis. Now is the time to make sure everyone understand the agreed value at risk, not in the event of any loss later.

Thanks for the responses. I’m amazed at the value of the older Daytonas.

Maybe one day they’ll surpass the new ceramics ones
