lovely watch. I've fancied one of these for a while but think the polished bits make it a bit too blingy for me.

Enjoy that bad boy in good health as they say.

I really like that!! I think the only new Breitling (I assume it’s the B01 version) that I would buy. It can be toned down with a leather strap - but I think Breitling make some of the best metal bracelets on the market.

Well done! Do say which model this is?

I appreciate it as a watch but not for me, far too big and shiny, the only Breitling’s that appeal to me are vintage and Aerospace quartz.

It looks good on your wrist, but watches without bezel wear bigger than watches with bezel.

I've always found the exact opposite - my 43mm Navi did not wear any bigger that my 40mm sub...

I'm with exiztence - generally-speaking, no bezel means the dial appears bigger, tricking the mind into seeing a bigger watch. Of course, the greater influence of other features, like lug shape and length, or crown size, may mean individual watches buck this general truth. Or in this case, exiztencial truth (see what I did there?) ;)

Nice choice of an iconic watch. Congratulations.

One of the few gripes I have with my Navitimer World is the lack of applied logo, but you cant have everything. Or can you?

I do however adore the sapphire crystal on Breitlings and don't understand why no one else seems capable of making them invisible like this.

Love bling or not everyone can appreciate a Navi- on a calf or croc strap they can be a totally different beast too... I love Navitimer crystals - double dome and AR coating on both inner and outer face. Adobe people don't seem to like AR coatings though...
