    Back in the eighties

I know there is a few old divers out in the forum, did anyone else wear their seiko on one of these

Your right it's not a NATO and your right it doesn't fit properly but this is what most of my diving gang used for dive straps

The massive tuck was all part of the style. The depth gauge cost me fortune in those days, most divers where spending hundreds of pounds on their dive watch and £20 on their depth gauge, this depth gauge has a fully adjustable zero.

I didn't wear my watch on a strap like that, but my Suunto dive compass was fitted with one, oddly enough I've since bought the same strap in black which I now wear on one of my dive watches, more robust than a nato, about £4.00 on eBay.

Hi Number 2, I had a look on eBay searching under the terms ‘nylon strap’ and then ‘nylon dive strap’ but not discovered any yet. Is there a particular search term I could use for greater success? Much appreciated.

I'll try to post a link, can't remember how I found them before but the seller was based in Shetland.

I'd be interested to know where you got one of those straps too. They look cool.

    Cheers
