No Ryan, it’s not showing. Lampoc and TTC’s pictures are ok though; it may be worth a pm to see what they’re doing different.
Does this work?

Suddenly everyone seems to have become a "trader" rather than a "collector." Not a pleasant trend imho.
We have pics now!
Looks lovely Ryan.
One day somebody might by one of these to wear and enjoy.
Congrats Ryan, glad that worked out ok - looks good on the wrist!
Yup, this was destickered, bracelet sized and on wrist duty straight away. Love it

I did not want go over £2900
Any of these watches going over 3k in my opinion are being bid up by sellers friends second account etc.
I think you paid the right money.
They were all 4K last week now they are 3.5k and rapidly dropping
Seller was cool and I advised him to join tz. A fellow watch nut (he had a lovely vintage Datejust on) and he was concerned about me paying on PayPal and then reversing the transaction as he’s heard horror stories. He was a really nice guy and we did a F2F

Watchfinder paid me £3k for mine, going by their normal markup (70%?) they will be trying to sell for £4.5-£5k
In a typical twist of irony, I sold it yesterday afternoon and today I had a phone call telling me there was an unexpected inheritance coming my way from a relative who died over a year ago. This means I could have kept it after all, assuming I managed to oursuade my wife I needed it and that she needed the little oyster perpetual she has had her mind on.
I am definitely going to own one at some stage if I don't get a Rolex GMT, it's just a question of when....

Great buy Ryan, looks really smart, have on on my list for the next six month ...
As for the comment someone made about everyone becoming traders, I get what you mean, I on the other hand have only ever bought, wife thinks I'm mad !!!!
No probs
Great pick up.
When the black bay dark came out I offered the first one that was for sale on eBay (it was an auction) £3500 but he said he would only end the auction for £4000 so I declined.
I won the auction for £2850 so after that decided not to overpay for a Tudor.
To be fair the guy was really cool about it
I accept the gmt Pepsi is a nicer watch but I just do not think Tudor at the moment has the same attraction in the market place to sustain over RRP pricing.
I am suprised this is going for a penny over rrp.
Hold on... if I’ve read this threat correctly, you purchased the GMT that sold on eBay for £2911 then the seller pulled out but then changed his mind and then you met up with him 2 days ago and picked it up.
Something fishy going on because I missed the auction so I messaged him and he sent me his phone number so I text him and he replied yesterday saying he can meet me... if he’d already given you the watch the day before how is he offering it to me?
Edit: I actually created my account because I saw this thread and wanted to find out what’s going on!
I think the days of buying a watch to sell being “ethically questionable” are long gone sadly.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the seller was staff of an AD like goldsmiths.
Selling them at a small retail profit makes no sense. Having bought a couple with staff discount and selling them for around retail, much more sense.
May also explain why he’s not gone to watchfinder too...
[QUOTE=RustyBin5;4789437]Didn’t think staff got discount on the new Basel Tudor’s (yet)[/QUOTE
When I bought my black bay dark pretty much the week it came out off eBay.
He was an AD employee and had got 25 percent off it if I recall rightly.
That's why my auction price that I won didn't bother him as he still made a nice profit.
Interesting.
Not quite the same level but I saved quite something off retail buying one of the new black series Seiko’s off eBay the other week from an employee who’d bought it with their staff discount. Can’t have paid a lot as retail in uk is £379, he listed for £270 and he accepted £220 with free post.
I was in the local AD today and their sales manager advised that they’d had one so far (congrats jmitch!!!). No news on further incomings on a list which was one and half pages long before Baselworld had ended. Their news on the BB58 was ‘hopefully before the end of the month’ in case anybody is waiting. Also tried on the BB36 Blue and it is a beauty. Not nearly as garish as the promo pictures suggest and has given me some serious food for thought.

Well according to Iconic watches ltd.the price on the secondary market is £4400 and you can have this pepsi with next day delivery if you do not mind the huge Mark up and unable to wait a couple of weeks/months.
I remember Iconic being a really competative player in the grey market but over the last year do not think i can say that anymore.
Just watched the end of an auction on EBay. Winning bid - £3,150

The one listed on Ebay by Soletime that didn't sell at £3300 has been relisted at £3000. Perhaps the initial market demand has peaked already...
One has just come available to me. I tried on, and it’s not for me, so I’m willing to pass it on to one of the forum. PM me if you want to discuss it, I’m due to pick it up tomorrow.
