Rolex Sea Dweller - Military issue?

Whilst many Submariners have been issued to military/naval units world wide.
Have any Sea Dwellers, been issued to any military, anywhere?

    Thanks

    Barry

    Yes, I believe so..........

I heard this directly from the guy who devised and performed the complex check procedure for the military Submariners and Omega divers.(which I have previously posted on MWR) He told me there were a very small number of issued Seadwellers (maybe 6 or 7)

I keep meaning to get back to him to see if he can remember any more details.

    Regards,
    Martyn.

I can confirm there where at least 30 issued in NI up till about 14 years ago when they got sunto dive computers.

I know where there is one, but the owner doesn’t have any interest in watches or even showing me the watch it’s buried in his loft somewhere.

At first I thought he was talking about a Milsub

Strange I know ,but I was trying to re start a discussion on watches rather than waiting lists and associated nonsense.
