I agree with this. I tried on a BB GMT and Stainless Daytona (non-ceramic) in the same shop and was underwhelmed by both...
GMT, bit too deep and chunky. Quality felt sold though.

Is the hype being fuelled by lack of availability?

Another happy owner here too. I feel the look and the value for money these watches offer is spot on. Ok I know it is relative and maybe Rolex have pulled off an amazing marketing trick, but I have fallen for it!

I put my name down 31st October and got the call on Tuesday this week. So, less than 3 months to wait. In the flesh that bezel is a thing of complete wonder - it's the blue which just seems to constantly change, I love it.

It's a great watch and I'm going to get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Went to my local beaverbrooks recently they had it on fabric strap to buy now with a bracelet as an extra
Lady told me the reason for the short supply was that there had been quality issues but that has now been fixed
Poor flippers prices will return to normsl

Indeed, the bezel can go from a Pepsi to a Coke depending on the light. Since mine has been back from repair I haven't worn anything else!

The GMT is one of my Fav tudors and miss the one I moved on last year. My only tiny criticism is that I wish the blue on the bezel actually looked more blue than black. Oh, and the “rivets” on the bracelet. Apart from that love it. Will see what Tudor do at Basel and if nothing jumps out at me will get the GMT again, hopefully at a fair chunk below retail too once supply/demand balance moves in my favour.

Looks great-I'm not sure about the rivets though... maybe they are a unique feature that makes it stand out?

Absolutely! I love the rivets, more subtle in 'the flesh', it's a nice feature that helps Tudor stand out from the crowd, refreshing and different.

The blue on the bezel is very strange (in a nice way) I'd describe it as a bluey graphite, no where near the vibrant blue of a Rolex GMT.

I've put mine on a Steveostraps leather strap. Very comfortable. It's unlikely I would use it in the water anyway.

Not that the rivets bothered me.

Loving the BB GMT, been worth the wait.
Don't know if the Pelagos will get any wrist time for a while.

They are, imho, bloody awful. It's the single worst thing on my bb58, up close they look cheap and nasty. From a distance and in pictures they look good. But side by side with an Oris 65 bracelet, it's a really, really poor effort.

If not doing it properly, I don't know why they bothered.

Oooft nice, those Nutella muffins are a particular weakness of mine. Just as well they are not that common! Nice strap option there too. I'm cooking up a new strap for mine, will reveal next week...

I went to look at one today in store and have to say I was underwhelmed. Looks great in photos but on my wrist and in person it just appeared a bit washed out and dull. In the end ended up ordering a BB58. I may change my mind and come back to revisit it later as happens in this watch collecting habit.

The colours really change with light. Office lighting can make mine appear a bit washed out at times, but in other settings I feel the colours are phenomenal.

JumpingJalapeno has it on a navy Rubber B for a while. Think there’s pictures of it earlier in thread somewhere

Finally the AD got in my leather strap and clasp for it from Tudor. Loving it but also keen to try it on a rubber

Haven't seen it in person but I still am underwhelmed from the pics. I feel the bezel to dial ratio is a little off
but still a quite popular model. So I guess I am in a minority.

I was exactly the same, no picture is saw made it look massively appealing, but, when I saw it 'in the flesh' I was smitten.

The silver hands and hour markers against the matte dial really work well. The bezel is strange, not the depth or intense colour of a Rolex GMT, but that's good, Tudor have their own colour palate.

I feels just right on the wrist, and not so block sided as other BBs because of the slight scalloping under the case.

Do it! you won't regret it.

Just got the call from an AD that mine is ready for collection!

Total time from putting my name on waiting list to gettting the call...three and a half weeks. I think I got a bit lucky because others above me pulled out, but it goes to show that if you put your name on a few lists, it doesn’t take long to get one. Glad I paid no attention to the chancers trying to flog them above RRP.

WOS Glasgow had one in stock on Saturday if anyone is still in the market for one of these. The guy who ordered it had a change of heart after seeing it in the flesh apparently.

I had my name down at Goldsmiths Braehead and got a call within a month. At that point I'd already put a deposit down elsewhere because of an excellent finance arrangement so had to let it pass, but total wait was 3 months so really not bad. Congrats on getting yours so quickly - enjoy it in good health!

Turns out Flybe lighting isn't too bad...

Any shots from a distance ? I just came across crafter blue when searching for straps, seems like good value?

It's a great look with the crafter blue, I just found it didn't sit snug. Also id say it offered great protection for the lugs.
