Cheers John, really appreciate it! So far it's been perfect. The leather strap is extremely well out together with a softer texture on the upper part of the inner side. Only issue is it scuffs easily. The look on leather is very classy versus the more sporty look of the EO. Would be interested if anyone have any leather strap recommendations, Colareb is my favourite so far.

Mine was seven or eight weeks (I think I mentioned exactly how long somewhere in this thread) when returned by AD.

I also went direct to Rolex, and at that time, it was about a 10 day turnaround, and I had to send the warranty card to them.

Just had a call from Goldsmiths Canterbury: they’ve spoken to Rolex UK in West Malling who’ve advised them that they’re at product recall stage and that I can’t expect the watch back until 31/05/2019 at the earliest.

I sent it back on 06/01/2019 after owning it for three weeks.

They can keep the f*cking thing.

Just spoke to Rolex myself. They stuck to the party line of ‘your part will be here by the end of this week so you should have your watch back by the end of next week’

They also said it wasn’t a common problem with this watch and the delay is caused by Tudor in Geneva not having any spare parts.

I did laugh at him when he told me that. He then reeled out the classic ‘is there anything else I can help you with?’

You haven’t helped me with what I rang up for, why would I want you to try and help with anything else!?!

Understandable. Ask for your money back or new replacement which you entitled to (either) under UK consumer law. The retailer has to do this Rolex/Tudor have nothing to do with it and their warranty is irrelevant.

I agree with this. Get your watch back and demand a refund from the dealer. It is shocking how Tudor are treating their customers over this issue.

Spoke to Rolex in West Malling today and was told, to my complete surprise, that the part they'd been waiting for had arrived and been fitted yesterday.

The part in question was an entire new movement!

Lady on the phone said it was now undergoing a period of testing and quality control and would probably be back at my AD in 7-10 days!

Mine was fixed on Tuesday and got it delivered this morning from st James. I’d fallen out of love as they’ve taken their time, but opened it up the package this morning and damn I’d missed it !

That's how it went with mine. I'd lost patience with it to an extent and was convinced I'd sell it when it came back. Changed my mind as soon as I had it back again. :)

They're great really. I'm telling myself that hourly having just landed no 2 after a rush of blood to the head, following moving on no 1 for lack of bonding... strange old game.

I get the following message when using the app:

The dimension limit for this file type are 620x280. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 490x1008.

I have an android phone, wonder is that makes a difference.

Got my one back after 4 weeks via an AD return. They claimed not to know of the date wheel issue. Not sure why but not feeling the love since getting it back. Maybe need to get used to the size again.

    I don't think so.

My local AD was quoting September until quite recently for one on a bracelet. This has now been pushed out to April 2020.

I've been quoted 6-12 months from various places.

I have a deposit on one that is supposedly due in next month though now

Was in Ernest Jones earlier today who have only starting dealing in Tudor. Only received one GMT when they got their first stock and it went straight away. Now a waiting list of between 6-12 months, 20% deposit needed to put your name on that list.

There'll be a 58 GMT next Basel to make up for Tudor's dismal showing at the last one; at which point they'll be having to discount these to shift 'em.

Was the 58 not to pay tribute to Tudor's reference 7924 that appeared in 1958, as much as i would like to see a 58 GMT I would not be so sure it will happen.

I guess over the next few years we will find out.

Correct the 7922 or 7924 depending on who you listen to.

I seem to remember just before Basel and the speculation about Tudor releases that the BB GMT got a bit of a slating for a few week with quite a few for sale!
Since the poor show by Tudor all seems to have gone quiet on these.
Only the other day I had a quick look at these on the internet and they seem to be bringing a premium again. Funny old world!

I waited 4 months for mine, this was at an Ernest Jones. Depends on how long their list is

Lots of people in front of me had already got one from elsewhere or not ready to purchase.

Got it just in time for amex cashback!
