Can’t believe I missed this thread, watch does looks great. People with skinny girly wrists, does it wear big? Not that I afford it but always nice to know if it would wear ok

6.6” wrists here and it wears just fine. Hyper critical perhaps a smidge on the tall side but I love it the way it is tbh

Does look fab, also prefer the coin edge bezel. What about the bracelet and the extra flat pieces or whatever they are called, looks both strange, unusual and if I squint nice?

No, I don't think it is but then the quality is actually pretty good so I don't really know. It goes well on the strap and watch so I'm happy.

In reality you don’t notice them - everything looks bigger in photos closeup mode. It suits the watch great and the links are stepped rather than one continuous taper which works really nicely

Really like the new Tudor GMT, bit too big for my wrists personally, will be very interested to see if they can squeeze it into a 39mm casing in the future like the BB58.

Has anyone sent their watch off to get the date wheel issue sorted?

Went into an AD today and was told it will take 8 weeks, just wondering if anyone on here sent their watch off and how long it took?

Yes I sent mine in but it was one of the first to go back so it avoided the log jam perhaps. Took 5 weeks

I’ll PM my address if your giving it away. Or by giving it away do you mean selling it at over RRP? Asking for a friend

You know I'll flip it if opportunity presents but not tried that hard (or going to, it's not eating any grass and can stay in the safe as a curio). A significant number of the enquirers I have had however have been spooked by the date glitch.

Strange that they know of the date issue and still enquire. Shame it’s in the safe and not on the wrist. Lovely watch

I don't know if you can class it as "not being able to give it away" when you're trying to sell a used watch over RRP :)

Repercussions? Yeah righto... it was a comment on an issue with a new in-demand watch. This is a watch forum, no?

With the well known date issue, I don't get why people are still going mad over them.

Because they are still great looking watches that wear really well. One of my favourite watches.

Just got mine back, away for around 4 weeks. Invoice said component replaced and adjustment.

Thanks guys. I'm going away next month for a few weeks and really want to take the watch with me so I can make use of the GMT function. So will probably hold off and send it away when I get back.

Same, they might as well have stuck two fingers up on the invoice given how vague it was.

I guess not everyone who wants one is on a watch forum. I was top of the list at a dealer but had to turn it down as was out of the U.K. (and they would not save it). Seeing this issue I'm not as upset as I was at the time......

That's pretty shoddy form on the part of the dealer IMO

I fancy one, but I'll let all the mad-goers suffer through this episode before I part with my hard-earned.

The dealer I was on the list with held mine for a week as I was out of the country. No deposit needed, just a verbal commitment

Surely this issue is now resolved on new ones. That is why the waiting list was revised, August collections now October.

Some “repaired” ones have had to be returned too. Not sure therefore that it’s 100 % resolved issue

If you order one now, its estimated delivery in April, apparently.

I say make a virtue out of necessity and let all these QC issues shake out once and for all before considering one. They'll be plentiful by then.

Can I ask a question to the owners of a GMT, what is the day to day time keeping accuracy on these? I would love to buy a GMT but I am very anal about accuracy, I sold a PO because it gained 4 seconds per day.

Mine gains 3 days every 24 hours hahaha!

If I ignore the date wheel, then its + 2 seconds a day

Approx + 1.5s /24hrs. When I place it in a crown down position overnight it compensates and it runs really precise. It is my most accurate watch (3 Rolex watches included). 3 months + since I own it and I don't have the jumping date issue.

It sounds like Tudor have invented a GMT time machine there, able to jump forward to the future.

I think I could cope with a 1-2 second gain, thanks for the info, it was much appreciated.

Though I may just stick with my radio-controlled g-shock 5610 and my Breitling Colt HEQ that has gained 4 seconds in 9 months since its 1st battery change at 10 years old.
