    Just got my new PRS-3

Just received (last friday) my new PRS-3 from Timefactors. Took the chance based on opinions i found here and there around the web. I have no choice but to agree that this is a lot of watch for the money indeed.

I used to have an Omega Seamaster 2254.50 six years ago that i regret selling, but i needed the money at the time... From what i remember the Seamaster was heavier and the crown was grinding my hand quite a bit. Not sure why exactly but the PRS-3 is much more comfortable to wear despite de fact that it is 42mm compared to the 41 of the SMP. + No hand grinding here.

On the timekeeping department, it gives me around +12 seconds a day. Do you think it needs a little break-in before i pop up the case to regulate it?

Am i correct in thinking this is a new old stock watch from 2009. If it is, does this affect the longevity of the movement and lume?

Anyways, i like it a lot. It will be my everyday go to watch for quite a while i think...

Very nice. It's super luminova I believe, so I don't think longevity has been compromised. My luminova Sea Hamster bought in 1998 still lights up nicely.

Hi - the year of manufacture is in the case back. For example if it was number 100 of those made in 2009 it will show 100/09.

The timekeeping on mine was +1spd so give it a bit of time.

It is 09. I'm not sure how a ETA movt unused for about 9-10 year will perform in the long run but for now it is at about +12 per day.

Thanx for your input, watch brother

Good looking watch, it should settle down a little over a month or so.

Oh and welcome to the forum.

I had to regulate it 3 times and now its been spot on for 6 days. Unbelievable, i could not achieve this on my old Seamaster 2254.50.
    Unbelievable watch

Congrats, it's a fantastic watch. Very comfortable to wear and one of the nicest case shapes to look at when on the wrist :-)
