Congrats. It looks great! I'm hoping to try one on in HK next week. It could well be farewell to the Day Date if it's as nice as I think it will be.

Congrats, that looks nice! Must be the first batch surely? I didn't realise the basel models are flowing through the stores now - that was quicker than i anticipated.

Incredibly subtle for a solid gold Rolex.

I'm loving the Root Beer colour schemes a lot more than the GMT Pepsi as it all blends together better.

Conrgats and hope you enjoy wearing it.

That looks soooo much bvetter in the flesh rather than all the promo shots I have seen.

    Congrats that is a STUNNER:!

    Thanks

    Classic

The Pepsi and Coke will always be the classic Gmt models in whatever form past or present and the original root beer carried a certain subtle cool 70/80’s vibe, this new generation carries none of that.

For me this is a huge disappointment on what could have been a genuine return of the classic root beer into the Rolex collection.

Totally agree. Could be so nice if the dial would actually be root beer but where is the root beer part of this watch please?

Actually looks rather nice. Hated this at the release, think that must have been the blind sight admiration of the Pepsi.

    Well done on the purchase.

Seems you’re very much in the minority here.

I love this one in pictures and I'm sure it's great in person. It's one of the only modern references that I like. Congrats.

It is definitely Marmite, but than again I’ve always liked Marmite.

    Marmite? That is pure Vegemite.

Probably transmission delay, he's a Space Traveller after all, so maybe he hasn't seen any of the thread replies yet.
