Thank you, one of a series I took at work, only one that fits into perspective, may post some of the others sometime. Very happy that others feel they are good ( look very good in A3)

Absolutely, rapid progress throwing up shoebox apartments means vistas such as this will be lost in the near future.

Thanks for clarifying, from where you are if you can take a picture of the tower block at Eccles shopping centre I'll get the wife's auntie to wave at you.

Not sure if it really goes on this thread, but see if you can tell which of the red lines in this photo is longer...

    Great view...Rapide flights are fabulous.

To think at one point in time that was luxury travel.

Well spotted … And when designed in 1933 the only calculation tools were logarithm / geometric tables and slide rules … no computers.
This Dragon Rapide DH 89A G-AIYR was built in 1943 and caught fire whilst preparing for take-off from Duxford on 8 September 2012 … 7 passengers and the pilot evacuated with no injuries

Managed to get a freebie flight on one out of Blackpool airport...lovely flight along the seafront past the tower and up to Fleetwood.

I'd recommend it to anyone a fantastic experience.
