Teeth gnashing compensated that even now, things like this still surface.

Well I’ve read it three times, translation?

I’m assuming (as the link is gone from eBay) it was cheap? Scam?

No, not a scam even to my jaded cynical eye. It was a one of these but with a gp case. Working but a bit tatty to the fussy, no band. Buy It Now for $285. I hit the button but it came up 'Does not ship to the UK' followed by 'Item has ended'. It was identical to this one but with a GP case.

I'd call that a lucky escape. It's not a stereotype for no reason; you buy a vintage watch on ebay from India and you're getting some cobbled-together piece of crap.

Thanks but that’s not the one, I'd never buy a watch on ebay from India, eastern europe or Italy for that matter. The watch was in the US and I was going to ask him to post it to my watch mate there.
How that black dialled thing got on my OP, I know not. See the link on the 3rd post.

    Ah Ok, that's weird.
