As RAGEN has already noted, would ill fitting end links count as a lack of coherence, its certainly visible and disruptive?

One thing that appears to be a recurring theme with you is whichever watch you happen to have at the time is always presented as the zenith of creation.

I have the same watch. It must be the angle of the photograph as the bracelet on mine fits perfectly.
I like the simplicity of design and unless you’ve actually handled one it’s difficult to appreciate.

They also bevel the edges of the end links which makes it look like there's a gap when there isn't, simply due to the light

As for the ‘sports’ model, Grand Seiko has produced far better looking GMTs, some with wonderful dials and a casual elegance.
And why the weirdly convoluted sentence..? .’’I prefer the gmt’ would have worked.
I suspect its less the photography and more the boorish personality.
And let me guess. The better looking GMT would be the 36000hz GMT hi beat?

In the meantime, I'm really enjoying the ever changing gmt dial and I think the hobnail dial diver á la SL maybe on the horizon. Lovely thing.

For me a new quartz has arrived :)

^^^ When I first saw that model the weird numerals on the bezel rather put me off.

Now that it's discontinued, I really like it. Especially the white dial version.

    ;-)

    Felt exactly the same.
But over time it won me over. Problem was that by that time it was long discontinued, had to wait a fair while before an opportunity to get one presented itself.

I had a 117, lovely watch; put it on a rubber strap which really worked. Eventually sold it to a fellow TZer, who still enjoys it.

I got it from a local AD here in Stockholm. Guess all ADs might stock them or at least can order them?

Had this one for a month or so now and I absolutely love it. Stunning dial and polishing that my crappy iPhone does absolutely no justice to!
