In the meantime, I'm really enjoying the ever changing gmt dial and I think the hobnail dial diver á la SL maybe on the horizon. Lovely thing.

^^^ That is absolutely stunning.
Unlike some I really like the dial.
^^^ When I first saw that model the weird numerals on the bezel rather put me off.
Now that it's discontinued, I really like it. Especially the white dial version.

SBGX117 on an Orient bracelet. Love that bezel font!

^^^ Nice. :-)
Interesting choice, putting in on an Orient bracelet.
Enough of these SBGX115/117!
I had a 117, lovely watch; put it on a rubber strap which really worked. Eventually sold it to a fellow TZer, who still enjoys it.
Still haven't worn this yet but will do soon-

Nice! Where's the case from? Ideally I'd like a triple one....
I assume they are not that cheap - look good though !
SBGF021 on Barton - just in.

Had this one for a month or so now and I absolutely love it. Stunning dial and polishing that my crappy iPhone does absolutely no justice to!

Is anyone living with a GS GMT quartz, and can give me their thoughts?
Cheers!

I had one, and stupidly sold it. Currently I have the Rolex GMTc but I still hanker for the GS 9F GMT and actually trying to get one back as I really feel it's a fantastic all rounder, either as part of a collection, or on its own. If I were to get one again, I would try to get the 001, but the 003 is actually better visually as the orange GMT hand is a bit more discreet. Size wise it's perfect for me esp if you tend towards 40mm watches. Technically it's the best quartz out there - full of amazing tech, and I'd say better than the equivalent citizen. Easy to maintain too as it's just a battery change.
Only downsides, it's bracelet is non adjustable so not easy to quickly change, but its short lugs mean it looks great on straps.
Here’s my first.

Next year my aim is to buy a Grand Seiko GMT Spring Drive, that second sweep is mesmerising...

SBGN001 enjoying the holiday
Sorry to hijack this but I suspect this will be seen more than my WTB. Loving some of the watches on here and if anyone wants to move on the 20th anniversary model please let me know (will consider other models too)
