I am only presume the man knew he would get his collar felt at some point so probably hid assets or just lived the high life for a while

Never have I seen the relationship (if any) confirmed between the two Thorpes, Jamie and Paul.

I suppose crime has to pay sometimes, or criminals wouldn't bother.

    It obviously does pay

A trader, who made more than £659,000 selling fake Rolex watches got caught
He offered to pay £28,000 plus a further £659.26 in compensation
If he fails to pay the full sum in three months, he will be ordered to serve a nine month prison sentence and will still owe the money

“I hope this outcome will deter anyone tempted to sell counterfeit goods in West Sussex.”

Be honest - would that deter you?

    100%

And when you Google Paul Thorpe look at the bottom of the search and Google states that results have been removed. That would be him being charged with illegal position of a shotgun and threatening people with it.

The system we have to punish criminals is a joke,it does not deter a criminal whatsoever in terms of cash he has to repay or prison sentence.

So he has stashed away somewhere £600.340.74p.........Id have to work a long long time to ever see that.
