RIP Bob - I enjoyed our exchanges over the years.

Very sad to read this (several weeks late), I remember Bob's posts very well.

Quite a shock and catching up on news here.

    Has anyone see Maigrus recently?

No, Bob hasn't been around for a while.

    Hope he is OK.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

You'll want to check out this BP thread on TZ stalwarts. Both Curta and Daddel said Bob (Magirus) was fine [sensibly avoiding the TZ bickering].

Thanks for your replies, which are helpful. I had not seen that thread.

Naturally, hope to see Bob (Maigrus) on the forum again, and amicable others who have taken breaks.
Hopefully, the forum will tempt them back for all the right reasons.

Just had a look through this thread and saw a post from an old stalwart Inspector Gadget.

We used to converse via pm and sad to say he died a few years back.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

I'm guessing around three/four years ago? Hard to recall TBH as I deleted our messages.

He got a cancerous growth in his eye, had treatment but unfortunately didn't last long.

    Very sad, lovely bloke.
