Just got a phone call off my sister asking if my house shook. I was in the local hand car wash at the time so didn’t feel anything but a quick look on social media suggests we did indeed have one.
Just told Mrs after reading the OP, and she apparently felt it early this morning,

Yep felt it as well Here in Devon.I have now experienced 8 of them 3 quite strong ones in Japan,2 minor tremors in Iran but this was quite bizarre as We do not exactly have a history of seismic activity but hey i stand corrected!

Felt it here in Oxfordshire.
I was sitting in my office at home when the glass doors on my shelves rattled. I went downstairs and asked my wife if she'd heard anything but she hadn't. Strangely at the same time our young labrador had rushed out of the kitchen and gone into the cage he sleeps in at night.
The house shook here in Oxfordshire, i thought something in the roof had given way. I know people up in Lancashire experienced it too.
Indeed you did: M 4.2 - 3km NE of Clydach, United Kingdom...and it was felt over quite an area: link.
Edit The British Geological Survey have it a M 4.4 (link), but there are several scales used to report results and they come up with similar, but not identical, numbers (or is may depend on how much data analysis each site had done).

Well the earth didn’t move for me in Devon
In the circumstances, I didn't expect the UK would be the first earthquake zone I'd be visiting.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Apparently there was 48p of damage to the Poundland store in Blackwood.
Poundland state that the store will have to close as it's not financially viable to carry out repairs!

The earth move? The flippin headboard didn’t even move. ...the late, great Victoria Wood.
