I don't suppose there's any chance of a white dialled Everest, Eddie?

ah well just a thought, I saw a prediction/fantasy for a Rolex Explorer 1 POLAR edition which looked amazing, and as you'd taken on board folks suggestion about the air ministry figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Personally, I quite like the white dial and imagine a lot of others will as well. It's like the Seiko SARB033 and 035 - black or white, night or day.

Very nicely executed Sir. The question is can I wait for the 36mm or will I succumb to this before that's ready?
Looks even better than expected. Looks like my next watch!
The hands are longer, the minute hash markers are shorter and thinner, the "Everest" on the dial is now dark grey instead of black, the crystal is sapphire and the clasp is adjustable. Nothing really major but overall, makes it a different watch to the first version.

When is this going to be available to buy Eddie?
Somehow the lugs look more crisply edged too, like the older version had a convex side, and this one not. Is that true, or just an optical trick. The front profile looks sharper (and all the better for it)......
Dave
I've owned two Everests but never quite got on with the length of the minute markers. This looks spot on
That does look rather good. I'll be perusing that photo more, later, with my (old style) Everest next to me for comparison.

Have to say that looks fantastic. 👍🏼

Thanks Eddie, please any pic of the clasp side ?
Thanks
Is the lug width still 22mm on the larger version?

The new 41mm looks fantastic. A few very small changes adding up to a real improvement on an already great watch, very impressed.
Not for me because I dislike Mercedes hands but it still looks lovely. EP, you really are firing on all 12 at the moment.
Very nice! A careful tuning and optimisation of the first generation with attention to both detail and the totality of the watch. I have reserved funds for the 36 mm
Cheers,
Gert
This exceeds expectations. Looks superb.

Much much improved...

Blimey, with just a couple of tweaks that has come out well.
very well done Eddie.....cash is all ready and waiting for my Xmas present of the 36mm.
Please don't you or anybody think this is meant sarcastically or disrespectfully, because it is not meant that way, but, given my own preferences for the best of vintage mil-spec, I never until now thought I'd think it a good thing in seeing a watch "upgraded" with sapphire from an acrylic crystal, but in this case I very much do.
The original "Everest" apparently had an unsecured domed acrylic crystal merely set (and glued?) into its seat in the front of its pieced together casing and TBH, I thought that a horrendously bad way to do it. As such, I think the modern sport watch proved press-fit and gasketed sapphire crystal you've revised these with a great improvement.
Of course, I personally still think a military grade domed and "armoured" steel tension-ring secured acrylic/plexiglass crystal would be a vast improvement over that sapphire revision but, you know ..................................
I also think the small and subtle cosmetic changes you've made to this one have had a very good effect on the aesthetics ---- it looks great and I think much improved in that also. Also, and I'm not exactly sure why if this is the new version of the large size Everest, but it looks "smaller" almost, or perhaps more gracefully carries its size to create that effect somehow
Even though feeling at a loss trying to fully articulate on that latter nice aesthetic effect you seem to have achieved, I do think you've very definitely improved this watch with the several revisions you've made to it

Sorry if missed this somewhere but is there to be a 36mm as well ?
What is the retail price of the 36mm version? or approximate price?
Thank you.
And if so, is the taper to 18mm on the clasp? Murky buckets.

Thanks Eddie for those new pics !
Please can you confirm that for the 41mm the bracelet is 22/20 while for the 36mm will be 20/18 ?
Thanks.
This looks great! I'm very tempted by this even though I've just bought a watch!
IIRC there was certainly talk if an 18mm clasp in the discussion of the new 35/36 version. Would love a definite specification for both bracelets...
