What a great watch. Fits perfectly, a little heavy but the dial is stunning. The hands are a big improvement too.

You can really see the new darker black on this version, the face does look much improved, better balanced than the original.

    Smiths Everest PRS-25

Arrived and fitted on the sea bound coast...

This one was for my father, I’m hopefully going to capture a 36mm one.

I reckon it is 44mm lug to lug.

    I'm confused too.

Sorry Eddie, now I’m confused 🤔 Should it not be around the mid-40mm range?

At first I thought I didn't like the new dial (I have the original version.) But looking at it now, in the thread, it really seems quite nice. Darker black, longer minute hand, smaller hash marks (neutral for me..I love the original dial). But with a sapphire crystal now, it could be a daily wearer (I am brutal on my watches, banging them into doorframes, cabinets, etc. Woe be to acrylic crystals...mineral glass is just hopeless on my wrist.)

I was considering the 36, a bit small, but I thought it would work well with a suit. But I'd get a lot more wrist-time out of the larger PRS-25, and I am pretty content with my SARB035 as my "suit" watch. So, now I'm thinking I might just get the new PRS-25, and leave it on the bracelet.

BTW: I note the specs say the lume is C3, but in Kippax's pics, it looks pretty blue. (Maybe my monitor?) Is it perhaps BGW9? I'm fine either way, just wondering. Well, blue would be cool...

Not only does it look good it feels good, maybe the clasp needs a little work to match the watches silky smooth exterior but it does have a certain element of quality that one rarely finds at this price, nice movement too....

I saw it on somebody else's wrist yesterday and thought how good it looked. It's quite rare that I see one of my watches on somebody else's wrist "in the flesh".

I've been told it *should* be ready at the beginning of December. Even if it is, it then depends on how long shipping and customs clearance takes. You probably know I close down for Christmas in the middle of December because in the years when I didn't, ordering fell off sharply from the middle of the month, probably because customers think it's too late to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.

Worth the wait Sir, so something to look forward to.

From placing the order to placing on my wrist in approx 35 hours. Finally replaced the only watch I've ever regretted flipping. Worth the wait. One happy camper here. Cheers

Having had it on my wrist for the week, I reckon it is a bit quieter than the old model. Still audible (I like it), but not as loud.

    Loving the watch.

As a fan of smaller watches, and the owner of a 114270 Explorer 1, I’m sure the 36mm version will be excellent.

Although it doesn't look like it in the picture, the dial is the same colour as the PRS-29 Air Ministry.

Looks great! How legible are the hands against the dial? I've generally had trouble with silver-edged hands and white/pale dials. Not too sure about those side bits on the bracelet though.
