I have this problem too that it no longer embeds the photo but puts in a link to an attachment. This is using the TZ-UK app on Android. It used to work until one day it started doing it the 'new' way.
Would anyone be kind enough to explain, in layman terms, what I have to do to be able to post pics using my iPhone again? I use the tapatalk app and have the same problem as others. I’ve tried to understand some of the advice so far but it’s gobbledygook to me!
Was there a solution to this Tapatalk issue (i.e. how to embed the photo into the post instead of showing as an attachment file)? I don't often post on the Friday Watch thread purely due to the photo hassle - I tried today on the Tapatalk app (both TZUK and normal) and it would simply embed as an attachment. Most in the Friday thread appear to have no problem with this. Do you all use external photo hosting sites and then embed the web link to your photo within [IMG][/IMG] in your posts?
I'm thinking I'm being an idiot, it can't be that difficult ...

I take the picture on my camera then upload from my camera roll in the Tapatalk app. No problem posting in the Friday thread this morning

Exactly the same for me.
Noticed that the iOS App updated again today, but not fixed this issue.
Perhaps need to find an alternative (easy) method for uploading!
Just use imagur, setting it up on a phone is a doddle, all you have to do is copy the link in the imagur app, then post with [img] tags.

Just as an update it has been raised on the Tapatalk Tapatalk forum as a deficiency.
Appears to be fixed in their next release. But cannot choose resolution.

Works OK for me and I've only recently downloaded it. The 'Give Kin' BS message when scrolling on my phone drives me mad though, makes no difference if I tick the don't show again box.
