Not high end but powerful, cheap and checkout the feedback. Probably very good on a tripod.

Cheap and cheerful … but then some people are happy with a £29 watch which likely costs less than £10 to manufacture

Those who rate this 12x50 in the Amazon reviews have maybe not tried a decent binocular and are thus unaware of the image quality and build quality differences between low-end and mid-priced instruments.

However … "whatever floats your boat …"

Bought the 10X50s as my existing binoculars don't allow a screw thread tripod adapter, collimated, some purple fringing in bright sunlight, haven't been able to compare them with high-end in bright sunlight, but in overcast conditions they are really good compared to high end. Only downside lens caps are poor and rubber eye cups are not as nice a pull out ones and not waterproof. Close focus is 7.5 metres which is not brilliant.

.. a fabulous binocular … it's all about lack of coma, ultra wide field of view (for a 10x instrument) and contrast
