An entertaining chap with the most amazing voice. More a knife nerd than a watch nerd, but his watch videos are great!

Wow, he’s enthusiastic! I need a rest after watching that. Sums the whole watch collecting madness nicely. If only we’d listened and taken his advice ‘Do not get into watches’. Very funny

His voice reminds me of Alan Alda.

Amazing voice, but lucid, funny & enthusiastic too - the guy has a talent for communication.

Amusingly, a little research tells me he has an ongoing 'thing' were nobody knows what he looks like.

I watched my first Nick Shabazz video only the other day, it was a review of the turtle.

I like his style and it’s anlittle different from the normal reviews you find on YouTube.

So much common sense and very entertaining - good description of how the watch bug grabs you and makes no logical sense but then he kind of validates why watches are still so great. Must check out his other vids.

So true, so very, very, true. Nice touch that he had the watches all set at the same time. Thanks for the post OP ,I now have another youtube collection to plough through.

Nick started out poo-pooing mechanical watches. He now sports a PO and has reviewed others. :)
His reviewing technique is well ordered, "The good, the great, the bad and the ugly." He may not have originated but I have stolen it for work proposals. I like most of his reviews, although wearing the batman mask is taking things too far.

It's something like one parent from NY, one from Boston, brought up in California and now lives in Michigan.
