    Bicycle Covers

As we live in a flat (outside balcony) we have to store our two mountain bikes outside. Every cover I've bought (and that's a few) start tearing after maybe nearly a year and develop splits.
Can anyone recommend a very durable cover that's going to last? Maybe I should look at motorbike covers which seem more durable/heavy duty?

This looks pretty decent, anyone used one?

The problem you have are the UV. Same thing wih BBQ covers, nothing lasts.
Get the same cover you had but add a layer of roofing felt on top to protect from direct day light.

Interesting , and a coincidence! I have a large motorcycle bike cover for sale as I have sold my bikes now and it sits there doing nothing , all seems double stitched and taped for strength and is completely waterproof, vents and securing tapes also , pm me if you are interested .

I store my two bikes on a balcony too. After trying a a couple of other covers I got two of these. They are great!

I think I have had them about three years and apart from discolouration they are in great nick. They are elaticated and have yet to be blown off.

I ended up using motorbike covers and just replaced every 2 years or so.
