    Any Enicar enthusiasts out there

I have just bought a lovely 1960's Enicar Sherpa Super-Divette from a Forum member and am looking to start a collection, interested to see what you have and receive your comments

Here's mine, also bought from this forum. For such an old watch it's a really decent size - the lugs are 22mm. I spent ages trying to get an original bracelet for it but in the end settled for a beads of rice from Watchgecko.

That blows the new JLC Polaris away, if they only looked in their back book Enicar would be doing very well.

Thanks Jason...the pictures (a couple of which aren't mine although the watches are) don't do justice to the watches:

I love the chronos because of the movements (basically Val 72); the Jets were almost inevitable additions because I'm into dual crown compressors.
The quality of the design and manufacture of the watches is second to none, as far as I'm concerned (with the exception, possibly, of the gold plated chrono).
If they hadn't recently got expensive I'd probably have more.

p.s. there is a German based Enicar forum which, if you can get over some of the dodgy google translation, is a mine of information (http://uhr-forum.de/enicar-uhren-t6725)

Glad you found the thread Bob, they are all lovely but that first chrono is stunning.
    Cheers..

I still have a weakspot for Enicar, Racine, as was the founder's name.

And I still, for the love of god, don't know why I got rid of my pristine Sherpa-Graph with beatiful Valjoux 72 movement, idiot I was!
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
